Jean and her team bring over 18 years of experience in Estate Sales/Liquidations, and over 25 years of experience in buying and selling Antiques & Collectibles. From pricing and setting up, to salesmanship, expertise, and post sale clean up, Premier Estate Liquidators offers the all inclusive estate sale experience. However, if you wish to host your own sale, the team may assist with organizing and pricing. Premier Estate Liquidators has an e-mail list of 1,200 clients and growing, and receives many personal references from previous clients. As longtime successful members of the estate sale community, Jean’s team has the knowledge and contacts to promote and market a profitable sale for you.
Jean is happy to meet with Homeowners, Lawyers, Family Members, Executors, Neighbor, or Family Representative to explain formats and procedures.
Estate Sale/Liquidation Cost
The “Menu of Services” includes doing the entire estate sale for a commission or helping you prepare/price when you wish to host your own sale.
Commission Sales are charged a percentage based on the size of the sale, how much work is involved to prepare and run the sale and whether or not there will be travel expenses. Percentages are normally around 35%-40%. We take care of everything and there is usually no out of pocket expense to you.
For those hosting their own sale, an hourly fee is charged in preparation and/or pricing.
REMEMBER: The difference between a professional pricing and a novice pricing can be hundreds of dollars for one item. At one family-hosted- estate sale a doll was purchased for $10.00 that was worth $700.00. Another sale sold several pieces of Van Briggle Pottery for 50 cents; the pottery was worth $35.00 – $250.00 each.
